Dear
Community Member,
BAY Shul, now completing our seventh
year, is continuing to grow as an established member of the Buffalo Grove
community. Our minyanim represent the essence of our shul, continuously giving
us the essentials of our spiritual well being. Enjoy davening with us every
Shabbos, followed by our warmly received Shabbos kiddush.
This past year we introduced the Kosher Kitchen series, a series on the “Meaning
of Life”, and a community effort to study “Praying with Fire 2”. Daf Yomi, the
Boys’ Motzei Shabbos Program, Pirkei Avos, Torah class, Women’s Tehillim Group
and Mishna Berura Chabura are just some of the regular classes we offer every
week. We have also enjoyed several social gatherings and special speakers, and
hope to have a full line up for this coming year, as well.
Our religious services, our classes, our programs, and our community services
have helped to build strong relationships, creating a sense of camaraderie
within the congregation. With your participation and support, we will continue
to grow, enhancing our shul’s community reputation.
As we approach our new year, we ask you to renew your BAY Shul membership. This
year’s membership dues will enable us to provide the needs for our growing shul.
This year’s membership is most significant as we will be voting to approve our
constitution. We look forward to your response, and may we continue to share the
benefits of our Buffalo Grove community.
Please circle one of the membership options below, as well as selecting one of
the payment options. Let us know that we have your continuing support and
encouragement in the coming new year.

If you have any questions about your membership or would like to pay your
membership by credit card, please call the shul at (847) 947-4BAY.
Shortly after the High Holidays, we will be holding elections for positions for
the Board of Directors of BAY Shul. If you are interested in taking a more
active role and helping our shul in this way, please contact Rabbi Pickholtz at
(847) 793-0381 to discuss the available positions and what responsibilities they
entail.
Additionally, we are always looking for your feedback. Please tell us about the
kinds of classes and programs you would like offered. We encourage your
participation in classes, social events, and the chesed work that our shul does.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to speak with the Rabbi.
May your summer be enjoyable and may we frequently gather together at the shul.
Sincerely,
Jeff Zaretsky
