Dear
Member of the Buffalo Grove Jewish Community,
Now completing our fifth year, BAY Shul
(the only Orthodox synagogue
in Buffalo Grove and North suburbs of Chicago)
is continuing to grow as an established member of the Buffalo Grove community.
Most important, our minyanim represent the essence of our shul, continuously
giving us the essentials of our spiritual well being. This past year we
welcomed the BAY Shul Sisterhood. We began a Pirkei Avos class, the Mishna
Berura Chabura, establishing, as well, other special series classes, including
the very popular “Of Goals and Souls.” We have enjoyed several social
gatherings. Later this summer, we hope to build the BAY Shul Book & Audio
Library. Our religious services, our classes, our programs, and our community
services have helped to build strong relationships, creating a sense of
camaraderie within the congregation. With your participation and support, we
will continue to grow, enhancing our shul’s community reputation. As we approach
our new year, we ask you to renew your BAY Shul membership. This year’s
membership dues will enable us to provide the needs for our growing shul. We
look forward to your response, and may we continue to share the benefits of our
Buffalo Grove community. Please circle one of the membership options below, as
well as selecting one of the payment options. Let us know that we have your
continuing support and encouragement in the coming new year.

If
you have any questions regarding the membership, or would like to pay your membership by credit card, please call the shul at
(847) 947-4229. Let us hear from you: we need your feedback. Tell us about
the kinds of classes and programs you’d like offered. We encourage your
participation in all our activities. Volunteer your time in our communal
efforts. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to speak with Rabbi
Pickholtz or me.
Enjoy davening with us every Shabbos, followed by our warmly received Shabbos
kiddush.
May your summer be enjoyable and may we frequently gather together at the shul.
Sincerely,
Melvin S. Merzon
